• Being with Dying is a revolutionary and practical training that brings contemplative work into the foreground for health care professionals. It was developed by Roshi Joan Halifax, a pioneer in helping to humanize and revolutionize healthcare systems throughout the world.  

• Mary has been part of the core faculty of this training program, contributing the embodiment piece for over 20 years.

• Please note, acceptance into this course is by application only through Upaya Zen Center. Due to many requests from yoga practitioners and the general public Mary is developing related programming with some of her colleagues on the topic of death, dying and how yoga interfaces with this important topic.
